The gearbox has gear wheel-moderate gearings (1) for covering a set of circumference portions of a rotationally symmetric truncated cone (3). Counter wheels are installed along circumference of the cone for transferring a rotational movement of gear wheels. The counter wheels are displaceable for alteration of a transmission ratio relative to the cone. Another set of circumference portions of the cone comprises a gearing (2) that is arranged along a height of the cone in portions, where a tooth spacing of the gearing is larger in the portions with the increasing circumference of the cone.
