The strand has a drive motor (10a) providing motor vehicle drive moment, a first load clutch (12a) and a second load clutch (13a) arranged parallel to the first load clutch. A load path (14a, 15a) transmits the motor vehicle drive moment to a gear box (16a) i.e. dual-clutch transmission. A control unit (17a) controls the two load clutches and prevents the gear box. The control prevents the motor vehicle drive moment provided by the drive motor from gear box to the two parallel switched load paths. The control unit is provided parallel to the two load paths in a boost operation. The load clutches are designed as multiple disk clutches. The boost operation is designed as a kick-down operation.
