The method involves bringing the components in contact with one another at respective joining surfaces (36,38) and connecting the components in a friction-locked manner by a connecting element, particularly a bolt (40), which is arranged normal to the surface of the joining surfaces. One of the joining surfaces is provided with a surface structure in certain areas through laser engraving before joining the components. The surface structure is designed as a diamond lattice.
