The element has plate-shaped concrete shells (1, 2) arranged in a spacing and connected with each other. Shell surfaces are distributed in the concrete shells and attached with a connecting bolt that is made of plastic material, where the shell surfaces are faced above each other. The concrete shells are arranged at opposite edges of plates (7, 8). Rectangular-shaped supporting elements (6) are embedded into the concrete shells and made of plastic material. Tooth-shaped projections (9) are formed in the edges of the plates, where the projections are expanded opposite to the plates. The supporting elements are designed as plastic injection molded parts. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a handle for collecting mortar (2) a method for constructing partition walls.
