The method involves starting the internal combustion engine (2) by dragging partially engaged clutch (6) with the electric engine (3). The starting of the internal combustion engine parallelized with a transmission circuit (5) is carried out. The time sequence for closing between the internal combustion engine and the electrical machine, and between the switched clutch and switching element (8) of the transmission circuit is determined depending on an operating point of the drive unit (1). An independent claim is included for a control device of hybrid vehicle.
