The system has a direct current (DC)-DC power supply device (1) which is formed at output side to supply electrical power to electric load units (2) and is connected with several sub-network devices (3) between the electric load units. Each electrical load unit is connected at single sub-network device. A priority-controlled switching unit (4) is arranged between the DC-DC power supply device and the sub-network device to provide electrical energy to the sub-network device from the DC-DC power supply device in accordance with predetermined priorities. An independent claim is included for method for power supply of electrical load units in hospital.
