The cell (10) has two battery cell terminals (30, 31) electrically connected with respective electrodes of the cell. One of the battery cell terminals is attached at an outer surface (21) of a battery cell housing (20) and equipped with a spring element (40, 41) e.g. cup spring or helical spring. The spring element is formed and arranged in the cell such that a resilient reversible movement of the battery cell terminal equipped with the spring element is realized with respect to the outer surface of the battery cell housing and opposite to the battery cell housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a battery cell module.
