The fan drive unit has a heater drive unit comprising a first input terminal (34) receiving driving signal of the heater drive unit and a second input terminal (36) receiving the drive signal of a climate drive unit of a vehicle at a moderate temperature system (22). A first output terminal outputs the drive signal to a motor vehicle fan. A second output terminal outputs the drive signal to the heater drive unit and receives position state of an airflow guide element for representing position signal from an airflow baffle element associated with a position detector.
