The combustion chamber outer shell has two half-shells (2) which are joined to one another in an assembled state, and a parting line is formed on their joining areas (3). The half-shell has a partial flange joint in the region of the parting line. Multiple seals are arranged between the half shells for sealing the parting lines, where the seal has a seal strip (7), which is housed in mutually corresponding sealing grooves (8) in the opposing joining areas of the abutting half-shells.
