The method (100) involves using (102) a divide-and-defeating process associated with an intermediate memory to carry out the beam tracking. The partitioning of the space and object list is performed by using the divide-and-defeating process in a recursive way. The complete hierarchy of the partitions, produced by partitioning of the space and object list is stored in the intermediate memory. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) computer program product for carrying out beam tracking; and (2) system for carrying out beam tracking.
