A fastening system for a vehicle headlining has a glass sunroof arrangement with a peripheral structure which surrounds at least one glass plate. A sky has an upper surface that surrounds an opening that is aligned with the at least one glass plate. One of several beams and a pair of longitudinal rails protrude downward from the laterally opposite sides of the peripheral structure. The other of the multiple beams and the pair of longitudinal rails are coupled to the top surface of the sky near the opening. The plurality of connectors each have a connector that is slidably engaged with one of the longitudinal rails and an elastic member that biases the carrier away from one of the pair of longitudinal rails.
