The device has a box connected to a supply pipe of waste water charged with solid materials. The supply pipe is connected to a pump and an outlet pipe (16) opening into two parallel and vertical opposed end walls (23, 25). One of the parallel and vertical walls is connected to a top part of the box by a portion of oblique walls i.e. inclined walls (24, 26). A flap (51) is associated to the supply pipe connected to the pump cooperating along a bottom edge with seat delimited or carried by the corresponding vertical wall.
