DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING KNEE PROSTHESIS FOR TRANSFEMORAL AMPUTE

The device has a measurement device i.e. reference sensor (9), for measuring gravity acceleration, and a controller (10) for determining position of a tibia part (3) of a knee prosthesis according to position of a femur (2) given by a user. The reference sensor is placed at a level of the femur, and an angular sensor is placed at a lever of the tibia part. An electrical motor (7) is integrated into the knee prosthesis, and the controller receives angular information of the reference sensor and the angular sensor.
