The method involves estimating a position of a receiver (4) from navigation signals (15a, 15c) received by antennas, and estimating a scene corresponding to an environment of the receiver from a three-dimensional geographical map and the position of the receiver. A number of reflected paths (15d) on building walls (12a, 12b) present in the scene corresponding to the environment surrounding the receiver is estimated, and an estimation algorithm is selected and initialized by the number of reflected paths, so as to deduct an arrival angle of the reflected paths before they reach the receiver.
