Use of cosmetic composition as a deodorant active agent of an essential oil obtained from a part of a Monarda hybrid comprising = 80 wt.% geraniol, is claimed. An independent claim is included for the composition comprising the essential oil of Monarda hybrid, an additional deodorant active agent and an antiperspirant active agent.
