The auto injector has a lower body (10) receiving a tank. The tank comprises a piston and a needle. A central body (1) is fixed to the lower body, and a sleeve actuator (11) is moved such that the actuator enters a projected position and an actuation position. The needle is allowed to reach a specific position when a projection reaches an end of a tilted profile. The tank is triggered by the projection such that the tank reaches an injection position after the needle has reached its injection position.
