The container (2) has a body (10) that includes a cylindrical lateral wall (12) forming a cavity (11) for a cosmetic product i.e. mascara. The cavity is closed and levelled with an end by a basic wall (14). The cavity is levelled with another end by an upper wall (16) provided with a neck (20). A wiper (30) extends from the neck in a direction of the basic wall of the body, where the wiper includes a drying part. A reserve part or washer (40) is adapted to inhibit accumulation of the cosmetic product around the wiper. An independent claim is also included for a dispensing applicator.
