The method involves providing a fixing or securing element (15) that includes a connection unit i.e. screw (23), for connecting the fixing or securing element with a rigid vertical flat panel (6), where the element is fixed on a vertical bottom wall (5). Fixing position of the fixing or securing element is marked on the wall by associating the element to the panel. The panel is attached on the element. An assembly formed of the element and the panel is positioned, so that the element carries the panel against the wall at ad hoc location. The element is fixed on the wall by a fixing unit. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of two panels fixed to brims or joined or close edges on a wall.
