The device (1) has a shelf (2) comprising central and rear flaps (5, 7) articulated to a front flap (4) by a transverse hinge (6) and a hinge (8). Side joinery (3) includes a reciprocal locking unit (10) engaged with a reversible locking unit (9) of the shelf. The rear flap includes guide elements (11), and guide rails (12) guide the elements and extend between front upper and rear lower ends (13, 14) such that deactivation of the unit allows sliding of the elements on the rails toward the upper end under return unit action to allow the shelf to be in partial folded configuration. The guide rails are in form of reception grooves of fingers.
