The method involves connecting a secure module (1) e.g. SIM card, and a personalization device (2) by a communication unit (3) provided between the personalization device and the secure module. A subscription profile (6) is transmitted from the personalization device to the secure module, where the profile contains an authentication unit that is necessary for authentication of a mobile terminal (7) such as mobile phone, associated with the secure module nearby a cellular communication network (8). The communication unit is not provided in contact with a near field. An independent claim is also included for a sales package.
