The assembly (1) has a part (11) forming a body of a shock absorber, where the part introduces a hollow tubular central part according to longitudinal revolution axis (YY'). A rib (12) extends along the longitudinal revolution axis in external periphery of the body of the shock absorber. A cylindrical opening is formed in the body of the shock absorber and matched with the rib, and a set of connection parts e.g. cup (15), is positioned in an extension of the rib. The body of the shock absorber is produced by extrusion. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
