The present invention relates to a method for determining the energy of destabilization of the shape of a protein. Said method being of the type in which: it supplies, at the interior of a solution, a protein comprising a sequence of amino acids, the said protein having a shape corresponding to a given relative position of the amino acids of the chain; and a compound is introduced into said solution oxidation reduction. Then, it provides successively increasing amounts of energy to the said solution to be able to modify the relative position of the data of the amino acids of said sequence, and so as to destabilize the conformation of the said protein, while said compound oxidation reduction interacts with the said protein destabilized to cause the appearance of a signal when an electrical field is applied to the said solution; and it records the quantity of energy corresponding to the appearance of the signal so as to be able to determine the energy of destabilization of the said shaping.
