The compressor (10) has a piston (12) moving in a cylinder (11) with a reciprocating movement of translation along an axis (15). The piston includes a protrusion (27) arranged to penetrate into a discharge port (18) of a valve plate (14) to reduce a dead volume between the valve plate and the piston. The protrusion has an annular shape centered on the translation axis of the piston. The valve plate is integrally formed, and includes a peripheral part (23) and a central part (24) connected to the peripheral part by arms partially blocking opening of the discharge port.
