The device has a hollow body (a) at an end of which a tool or load (b) is provided. A sliding element (c) is provided with a handle (d) in the hollow body. The sliding element exceeds the hollow body in its end opposed to the tool or the load. An axial position of the sliding element with regard to the hollow body provides an impact on the position of center of gravity of the hollow body and the sliding element by its actual weight so as to facilitate handling of the tool or the load by the operator.
