The structure (SA) has a rear portion (PR) and a front portion (PV) to be coupled to a floor (SS) of a car. The front portion includes an anti-submarining bar (BA) initially placed at a low level relative to the floor. The rear portion is rotatably mounted on a mounting feet (P21). Two lateral connecting rods are provided, where each connecting rod (B1) includes two ends (EI, ES) rotatably secured to a respective side region of the front portion and a front base (P11) coupled to the floor, so that the anti-submarining bar is moved to a high level during forward displacement of the structure.
