The device (1) has a power unit comprising an electric machine (2) with a single-phase power supply network (5). An inverter (7) is connected to the electric machine, and a voltage booster stage (8) is connected between the inverter and a battery (3). A connection unit (4) is coupled with the electric machine. A filtering unit (6) is connected between the connection unit and the electric machine. A switching arm (9) is connected between the voltage booster stage and the connection unit.
