The method involves placing a blank (5) so as to be pressed in a stamping tool (1) between a punch (2) and a corresponding die (3). The punch and the die are brought closer to each other according to a stamping movement (M E) so as to press the blank. Another conjugated stamping tool (12) is carried by a tool support (11) having a mobility relative to the punch. The former tool and the latter tool are allowed to cooperate to cut the blank placed between the punch and the die so as to divide the blank into separate under-blank and another under-blank. An independent claim is also included for a stamping tool.
