The solar evaporation apparatus comprises a container (1) for storing a liquid, and including a bottom portion and a peripheral wall that is widened compared to the bottom portion of the container. A transparent plate (3) covers the container. A lateral discharge conduit (4) discharges a condensed liquid flowing along the plate to the outside of the container. A reservoir (5) is disposed outside of the container to collect the condensed liquid. The discharge conduit is externally connected with the reservoir via a pipe (6).
