The device (1) has a backup unit (10) for storing a location accessed by two peripherals (P1, P2). A pointing device (20) points an access in a mass storage device (2). A managing unit (30) manages the access in the storage device, copies contents of the pointing unit corresponding to one of the peripherals in the backup unit and contents of the backup unit corresponding to the other peripheral in the pointing unit when the two peripherals send a request for accessing the storage device. The management unit serially accesses the peripherals according to a priority level in the storage device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for acquisition, treating and communication of avionics data (2) a method for managing an access to a mass storage device.
