The device e.g. push button (12), has a fixed part with a front contact (24) covered with an elastic front dome (28). A moving part is provided in connection with the fixed part, where the moving part has a central unit (40). The central unit and a front unit (42) and a rear unit (44) cooperate with each other such that displacement of one part is transformed into displacement of another part. A flexible elastic front strip (46) and a rear strip (48) or a traction spring solicit the central unit and the front and rear units towards each other so as to maintain the parts in contact. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a control device.
