Charging system for charging battery of car, has determination unit for determining duty cycle of transistor to obtain zero difference between reference current of battery and current measured in inductor of voltage booster circuit
The system (1) has a resonant circuit (7) connected to a battery (3) and a power supply network (2). A voltage booster circuit (8a) is connected between an output of a rectifier (8) and the battery. The booster circuit includes an inductor (Lbst) connected to a collector of a transistor (Tbst), and to an anode of a diode (Dbst). A determination unit determines a voltage across the inductor, and determines a duty cycle of the transistor to obtain a zero difference between a reference current of the battery and a current measured in the inductor of the voltage booster circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a system for charging a battery of a car.
