The device (D) has an enclosure (100) in which volume (110) is intended for deep freezing. A refrigerant circulates between modules. An evaporator (230) includes a pressure reducer (231), a battery (310) equipped with tubes in which slackened refrigerant circulates, and a ventilation unit for allowing passage of air in the battery. The battery adapts geometry in inclined planes by placing the tubes according to parallel tilted planes to increase surface with which the air flow output from the ventilation unit contacts.
