The straightener has two distant rectangular small pockets (1, 2) for autonomous production of heat, where the pockets are connected by a connection such that the pockets are put into contact with each other so as to form a grip to tighten and smooth hair locks. The pockets are provided with an aqueous solution that is saturated with acetate and sodium. The connection is arranged with two parts, where each part is arranged interdependent of each of the small pockets. The two parts form an articulation when assembled together.
