The module (4) has a portion (12) adapted to sealingly receive persons and/or equipment and a non-sealed portion (14) positioned on a submerged structure (6). A mechanical fastening unit is provided on the submerged structure. A mechanical unit comprises an electric control unit for winding and lowering the transfer module and remotely controlled by commands sent through a connection cable (26) i.e. electric cable, connecting the transfer module to an external structure. The electrical control unit comprises an electric motor for controlling a winch to carry a cable attachment. An independent claim is also included for a transfer system.
