The present invention relates to a method and a system for carrying out the removal or splicing to a first instant ts1 in a system which at least a first stream scrambled f1e by means of a first control word cw1 and at least a second stream scrambled f2e by a control word cw2 characterized in that it uses the same value of the control word cw fixed for scrambling simultaneously and for the duration of the splicing, at least partially the first flow fi and at least partially the second flow f2, the control word cw being fixed for the duration of the disengagement of the first flow towards the second stream, and in that, in a given time after the time of disengagement ts1 is broadcast the message ecm2 associated with the second stream f2.
