The present invention relates to the field of devices and control methods for expertise and diagnosis of welding between a first piece and a second piece (2) of plastic material used for the distribution of fluids and relates more particularly to a device (1) for measuring the evolution of a temperature field during a welding operation between the first part and the second part (2), the device (1) comprising a false part (10) representative of the first part a part and a set of thermal sensors (12) fixed and distributed over at least a part of a contact surface (3) of the false part with the second part (2), said false part consisting of a non-weldable material in the conditions of the welding operation having thermal characteristics close to those of the first part. The present invention further relates to an associated method for controlling the quality of welding between the first piece and the second piece.
