Portable electronic drum-kit comprising a container which doubles as a stand

A portable electronic drum-kit comprises a carrying container which doubles as a stand for electronic drums and cymbals. The pod style container comprises two halves, into which all parts of the electronic drum-kit, such as drum pads 5, a control unit 6 and foot pedal 9, can be stored. The container preferably includes a handle or shoulder strap to carry the stowed drum-kit. When the drum-kit is set up in playing mode the two halves of the container may be supported by legs 2 and floor supports or braces 3. Arms 4 may be attached to the container, onto which are attached the electronic drum pads 5 and control unit 6. The container may be constructed from double density polyurethane for example. Each half of the container may include compartments (7) for securing holding the various components of the drum-kit when in transit.
