PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and safe operating device of a vehicle for both physically handicapped and non-handicapped drivers, configured to ensure easy and reliable operation, by simply remodeling a general vehicle.;SOLUTION: An operating device includes: a sub-pedal plate 4 having a brake pedal 2 arranged at the tip and an accelerator pad 3 arranged on the right side; an accelerator lever connector 16 attached to an operation lever 11; an accelerator lever 25 for operating an accelerator; an accelerator differential roller 28; and control members 30a-30c. A bridge-shaped or arch-shaped plate 10 having a window hole 19 facing the tip of the accelerator lever connector is mounted on a top face at the tip of the sub-pedal plate, with the tip of the accelerator pad located inside. The operation lever is erected on the plate so as to be swingable.
