PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for prospecting rigidity capable of accurately and easily calculating and prospecting the rigidity in a steel tube column joint part jointing upper and lower columns having different diameter and in upper passing diaphragm with a plate having a standard thickness, particularly capable of prospecting the rigidity in cases of having one or two direction eccentricity.;SOLUTION: Deformation in a diaphragm 5 is evaluated with combination of a rotary spring and a shear deformation spring. An analysis model in which the diaphragm 5 is divided into a plurality of polygonal elements E11 to E14 (marks represents marks of elements in a case of having one direction eccentricity). The rotary spring is arranged at a position similar to that of a bearing capacity evaluation method based on yield line theory so that calculation may be executed easily. The polygonal elements E11 to E14 are regarded as having rigid body against bending. The shear deformation spring is arranged in a manner where uniform deformation occurs in a region surrounded by the rotary spring. With respect to one or two direction eccentricity, since upper and lower columns 2, 1 have axial deformation, an axial deformation region is arranged on the columns so as to satisfy balance in deformation with the deformation in the diaphragm 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
