PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the offset correction of a gyro sensor from being mistakenly executed, even when the vehicle is mistakenly determined to have stopped due to that a vehicle-speed pulse is no longer inputted.;SOLUTION: Even when determination of vehicle stoppage is made on the basis of a vehicle-speed pulse (Yes in S101) and it is determined on the basis of gyro output that the vehicle has its bearing not changed (Yes in S102), gyro offset correction is not executed for a period (correction exclusion period) in which a steering sensor value exceeds a threshold (No in S103), assuming that it is possible that the vehicle has its bearing changed at an extremely slow speed. Thus, it is possible to prevent the gyro offset correction from being mistakenly executed, even when determination of vehicle stoppage is mistaken while the vehicle has its bearing changed at an extremely slow speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
