PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of which numbers of additional components can be suppressed, and which can prevent a run-away of a vehicle occurring due to an abnormality of an operator, and can reliably prevent traffic accident.SOLUTION: An emergency run-away prevention device includes: an automatic brake part 18 for automatically braking a vehicle 1; an engine torque control part 19 for controlling an output torque of an engine 4; an accelerator opening degree detection part 20 for detecting accelerator opening degree of the vehicle 1; a crewman run-away determination part 21 for determining whether an emergency state is based on an abnormality of an operator or not; an a vehicle run-away determination part 22 for determining whether the vehicle 1 is in a run-away state or not based on the result determined by the crewman run-away determination part 21 and the accelerator opening degree detected by the accelerator opening degree detection part 20. When it is determined by the vehicle run-away determination part 22 that the vehicle 1 is a run-away state, the vehicle 1 is so braked by the automatic brake part 18 as to be stopped, and an output torque of the engine 4 is decreased by the engine torque control part 19.
