NATURAL FIBER POLYMER COMPOSITE AND ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY LIGHT BASE MATERIAL FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material that is an environmental-friendly material, that can be provided as a lighter-weight material by reducing weight, that is excellent in humidity resistance and strength, and that may be applied not only to a vehicle interior material but also to various interior materials in various industrial fields such as railway, aircraft, and construction industrial fields.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an environmental-friendly lightweight base material and the base material is manufactured by: adding a moisture-curable isocyanate or epoxy for complementing properties of a vehicle interior material base material having a sandwich structure and containing natural fibers susceptible to a high-temperature humidity environment; complementing a degraded physical property by entry of moisture into the natural fibers to improve humidity resistance and strength of a natural fiber reinforced layer; and continuously manufacturing the base material using heat lamination on a thermoplastic foamed sheet core material layer.
