PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for properly measuring motion of a posture of an upper body of a human (subject).SOLUTION: An upper body exercise measurement system 1 comprises plural inertial sensor units 2, each of which comprises an angular speed sensor 4 and an acceleration sensor 5. The plural inertial sensor units 2 are attached to portions of an upper body of a subject P where are different from each other. Based on detection outputs of the angular speed sensors 4 and acceleration sensors 5, postures of the respective inertial sensor units 2 are estimated, and then the acceleration is estimated. Based on the estimated acceleration of the plural inertial sensor units 2, angular acceleration of the upper body of the subject P is estimated.
