PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a dewaxing gas oil base material having satisfactory low temperature performance and excellent oxidation stability; and a gas oil composition intended for cold district with reduced blending of a kerosene base material.;SOLUTION: A dewaxing gas oil base material is obtainable with a production method in which a dewaxing process is combined with a subsequent stage of a hydrodesulfurization process. A kinetic viscosity at 30°C is 4.10-5.00 mm²/s, a sulfur content is not more than 10 mass ppm, an olefin content is 0.5-2.4 capacity%, a bromine value is 0.5-3.0 gBr₂/100 g, a slow cooling CP is -24°C to -12°C, an amount of normal paraffin having a carbon number of 27 or more is 0.0050-0.0120 mass%, and a petroOXY induction period is 53 minutes or more.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
