PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize more-accurate prediction of pest generation with a simple configuration.;SOLUTION: A pest generation predicting system includes: a terminal device; and a server device to be connected to the terminal device through a network. The terminal device comprises: a camera that photographs an insect-catching sheet to acquire image data; a positional information acquisition part that acquires positional information for the insect-catching sheet; and a control part that generates insect-catching sheet information including the image data and the positional information and then transmits the insect-catching sheet information to the server device. The server device comprises: an image analysis part that receives the insect-catching sheet information, analyzes the image data included in the insect-catching sheet information, with respect to each insect-catching sheet, counts the number of pests for each insect-catching sheet and then generates tabulation basic information including the number of pests and the positional information; and a prediction part that predicts pest generation on the basis of the tabulation basic information for each of the insect-catching sheets.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
