PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the bulk density of powder near the wall faces of containers.;SOLUTION: A bulk density estimating apparatus (100) is equipped with an arithmetic processing unit (130) that estimates the bulk density of powder (201) in a second container, on the basis of a calibration curve regarding the measured bulk density of powder in a first container and a voltage matching an electrostatic capacity between first and second electrodes (101 and 102) for the powder in the first container, from the voltage matching an electrostatic capacity between the two electrodes (101 and 102) for the powder (201) in the second container, and the voltage matching an electrostatic capacity between the two electrodes (101 and 102) for the powder (201) in the second container is a value outputted from an electrostatic capacity measuring unit (120) in a state in which a sensor unit (110) is snapped into an installation hole formed in the second container.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
