PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack seismic control construction method with wire cables which solves the problem that the conventional rack seismic control construction method causes the occurrence of a dead space and does not exhibit a predetermined seismic effect.;SOLUTION: The present invention provides a rack seismic control construction method with wire cables, wherein a seismic control device that damps rack oscillation along a carrying in/out directions of a carrying in/out port is provided in the rack, a wire is fastened to the seismic control device so as to exhibit an attenuation function by relative movement to the seismic control device, the wire is tensed so as to be X-shaped in a side view in a range of a side face of the rack and in the gap between adjacent racks to keep both ends of the wire fastened to positions of the rack that are positions vertically opposite to the positions of the seismic control device, in order to make a rack seismic control structure in which the rack and the wire are relatively moved during oscillation along the carrying in/out directions with movement of a rack carrier machine unobstructed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
