PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let a user to purchase unsold merchandise at a timing and under a condition intended by the user.;SOLUTION: A mediation device includes a purchase acceptance part, a sales acceptance part, an extraction part, and a settlement part. The purchase acceptance part accepts a purchase request including information related to purchase desired merchandise that a user desires to purchase and the condition of the price of the purchase desired merchandise. The sales acceptance part accepts a sales request including information related to sales merchandise to be sold in a store and the sales price of the sales merchandise in a predetermined time zone. The extraction part extracts a purchase request corresponding to the sales request accepted by the sales acceptance part among the purchase requests accepted by the purchase acceptance part.
