PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a percussion instrument pad allowing acquisition of a desirable hitting feeling, and having small percussion sound.;SOLUTION: A percussion instrument pad 1 includes: a front face protective sheet 2 having a knit layer 7; and a pad body 3 made of an elastomer disposed on the rear face of the front face protective sheet 2. The front face protective sheet 2 has a resin or rubber rear face coating layer 8 disposed on the rear face of the knit layer 7, and the rear face of the rear face coating layer 8 and the front face of the pad body 3 are joined. Preferably, the elastomer of the pad body 3 is expanded polyurethane. Preferably, an average thickness of the knit layer 7 is 50 μm or greater and 800 μm or less, and preferably, an average thickness of the rear face coating layer 8 is 10 μm or greater or 80 μm or less. Preferably, a fineness of yarn of the knit layer 7 is 140 dtex or greater and 200 dtex or less, and preferably, gauge of the knit layer 7 is 50 G or greater and 70 G or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
