PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a percussion instrument pad and a manufacturing method of the same capable of obtaining good hit feeling and being small in impact sound.SOLUTION: A percussion instrument pad 1 includes: a pad main body 2 made of a foam elastomer 11; a fiber sheet 3 laminated on a surface side of this pad main body 2 and expandable, and a composite layer 12 in which a fiber of the fiber sheet 3 and the foam elastomer 11 of the pad main body 2 exist. This composite layer 12 has bubbles. The foam elastomer 11 to use is preferably a foam urethane. A void ratio of the composite layer 12 is preferably 30% or more and 80% or less. Further, it is preferable to provide a resin coating layer 14 laminated on the surface side of the fiber sheet 3 and arranged on the surface side of the composite layer 12. A manufacturing method of a percussion instrument pad 1 has a step of impregnating compositions of the foam elastomer 11 into the expandable fiber sheet 3 and a step of forming bubbles in a layer in which the fiber sheet 3 exists by hardening the compositions of the foam elastomer 11 while bubbling.
